Clear Channel Outdoor Gets CFIUS Approval for Mubadala Capital Deal
Clear Channel Outdoor has cleared a key regulatory hurdle, with CFIUS approving its acquisition by Mubadala Capital ahead of an October close.
Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCO) announced Tuesday it has received clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States for its planned acquisition by Mubadala Capital, removing a significant regulatory obstacle to completing the transaction.

The transaction, once finalized, would mark a significant ownership shift for Clear Channel Outdoor, which operates billboard and transit advertising assets across major U.S. markets. The company's shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker CCO.
